Mary Anna Knapic Sauer, 84, died June 20, 2016.

She was born Dec. 15, 1931, at Kingman the daughter of Frank W. and Loretta Schaeffer Meade. A resident of the Kingman community most of her life, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman; and attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wichita.

On Dec. 27, 1952, she married Joseph E. Knapic; he passed away April 9, 1998. In September of 1999, she married Clarence Sauer; he passed away December of 2004. Survivors include son Joe; daughters Terri Hesketh, Jacque McGinnis, and Mary Roberts; sister Pat Boorman; 31 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Mike; daughter Kathy Knapic Cain; and brother Buddy Meade.

The family welcomes friends at the McGinnis home on Sunday, June 26, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman. Committal services will follow mass at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
