Mary F. Sowers, 77, died August 29, 2018, at the Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.
She was born August 7, 1941, in Henry County, Missouri the daughter of Garland Clay and Fred Baker McQueen. A longtime Kingman resident, she was a homemaker.
On November 6, 1976, she married Darrel W. Sowers; he died August 9, 2013. Survivors include a son Quinten; brother J.R. McQueen; and a sister Clayta Jones. She was also preceded in death by brothers Steve and Kenneth; sisters Jean Folger, Wilma Beck, Garlene Page and Sharon Flickner.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon til service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Prairie Sunset Home or the Grace Revolution Church, both in care of the funeral home.
