Chris Wick, 42, died Sept. 25, 2010, at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City. She was born June 20, 1968, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Harland and Francie Rhodes Schasteen. A longtime resident of Garden City, she was a secretary. She was a member of Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her companion, Oswald Hoeme; her parents; a brother, Charlie Schasteen; a sister, Cindy Snyder; and nieces and nephews, Tyra and Colby Snyder and Geoff, Ashleigh and Adrian Schasteen.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie, Kansas. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Lone Star Cemetery, Pretty Prairie. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
