Michael D. Pickens, 49, died Aug. 29, 2018 in Wichita.
He was born Oct. 22, 1968, in Wichita the son of Roy D. and Jean Allen Pickens. A longtime Wichita resident moving to Kingman in 2017, he was a caddy at Flint Hills National Golf Course and a music sound technician.
On March 15, 2018, he married Amy Neises in Kingman. Other survivors include son Tristan; daughter Danielle; step-sons Josh (Ashley), Dustin and Jacob; step-daughter Haley; his mother Jean; a sister Dawn Womack; one grandchild; and his many friends and family in the music community.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Kingman Christian Church. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,
Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Vinita Cemetery near Cheney.
Memorials may be made to the Kingman-Norwich USD 331 Music Department in care of the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, KS 67068.
