Mitchell L. Capps, 61, died Nov. 12, 2016, at his home near Kingman.
He was born Jan. 10, 1955, at Wichita the son of Junior and Alice Walters Capps. A longtime resident of the Kingman community, he was retired from Learjet and Boeing Aircraft.
He was a member of various model car clubs.
On May 27, 1994, he married Pat Walter at Kingman. Other survivors include 4 step-sons and their wives, Monty (Crystal), Luke, Justin (Kelli), Daniel (Crystal); 2 step-daughters and their husbands, Robin (Allen) Ediger, and Wendy (Jimmy) Miller; his mother Alice Pettegrew; brother Mark, and twin brother Mike and his wife Jessica; and 22 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the First Baptist Church, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. MST, Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 in the Greeley County Cemetery, Tribune, Kansas.
Memorials may be made with the Kingman County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
