Nancy J Young Obituary

Nancy Jane Bessler Young, 89, passed away on April 29, 2023. Nancy was born in Garden City, KS on August 10, 1933, to George Miles and Ava Randle Bessler. She attended school at Zenda, Star, Lerado, Arlington, and Pretty Prairie. On December 28 ^th , 1950, she married Daryl Young of Pretty Prairie. Daryl passed away May 23, 2017. To this union four children were born. Nancy is survived by son - Robert Young (Mindy Yost); daughters - Dianna Susan Young, Dr. Patsy (Max) Jones, Cindy (Dr. Kent) Correll, 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Her sisters - Barbara Wilson, Tava Madison, Elizabeth Beck, and Sister-in-Law Kay Bessler. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother - Randle Bessler, and her foster daughter, Denise Cole Kelley.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 14 ^th , 2023, at Lone Star Cemetery, Pretty Prairie. In case of inclement weather, Nancy's Celebration of Life will be held at The Pretty Prairie Skating Rink. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Memorials may be made to Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church or the public libraries at Pretty Prairie or Kingman in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
