Nellie Edith Williams 76, died July 3, 2016, at her home in Pretty Prairie, Kansas.
She was born April 19, 1940, at Kit Carson, Colorado, the daughter of Clifford and Mildred Martin Schrimp. A resident of Pretty Prairie for over 50 years, previously of Medicine Lodge, she was a cook for the Hutchinson and Pretty Prairie areas; she loved her career.
On May 24, 1961, she married Duaine C. Williams, Sr. in Oklahoma; he died Nov. 13, 1993. Survivors include daughters Connie Bontrager and Vickie Jo Trammel; son Duaine, Jr.; brother Frank Schrimp; sisters Evelyn Craig, Ellen Agronis, Fay Broyles, and Kathy Lee; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman. Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to service time on Saturday. Burial will be in Lone Star Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Nellie Williams Memorial Fund in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
