NORMA SALMANS

Norma Lee Salmans, 83, died April 3, 2012 in Wichita.

Norma was born Oct. 8, 1928, in Kingman County, the daughter of Claud and Myrtle Brock Brand.

A Wichita resident, previously of Kingman, she was a retired secretary for USD 331; sales representative for Happiness, Inc, a Nutri-System franchise owner; and was Director of Franchise Support for Prohome International.

She was a member of Central Christian Church, Wichita.

In 1946, she married Harry O. "H.O." Salmans in Kingman; he died in 1993. Survivors include children Todd and wife Debbie Salmans, Kimand husband Kevan Hodges, Jack and Sue Salmans; sister Georgia VanLandingham; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers Gene and Jim; and a sister Virginia Doak.

Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m., til service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
