OPAL F. ALBRIGHT

OPAL F. ALBRIGHT, 105, died Aug. 2, 2017, at the Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.
She was born May 2, 1912, at Hutchinson the daughter of Charles and Frances Brown Gray. A resident of the Pretty Prairie most of her life, she was a retired Pretty Prairie Elementary School teacher teaching there for thirty-one of her thirty-six year teaching career.
Opal was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Lions Club and Ladies Golf Club, all at Pretty Prairie. She was a 1928 graduate of Pretty Prairie High School and attended Hutchinson Junior College, Southwestern College; and was a 1965 graduate of Sterling College.
On July 17, 1936, she married John J. Albright in Wichita; he died Dec. 30, 1994. Survivors include a son Gary; grandsons Jeff Albright and Brad Albright and his wife Misty; great-grandchildren Codi Bates and her husband Simon, Kayla Albright and Cheyenne Albright. Opal was also preceded in death by a son Richard and a brother Charles.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery, Pretty Prairie.
Memorials may be made with Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church or Prairie Sunset Home both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
