OPAL LAURA KAUFMAN

Opal Laura Kaufman, 104, died April 2, 2017, at Lyons, Kansas.
She was born January 24, 1913, at Pretty Prairie the daughter of John J. and Carrie Swartz Kaufman. A resident of the Pretty Prairie community most of his life, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie.
On Nov. 28, 1935, she married Lawrence J. Kaufman, at Pretty Prairie; he died Jan. 11, 1995. Survivors include a son Marlin; daughter Carolyn Ludwick and her husband Dennis; grandchildren Jamie Link and her husband Jeff; and great-grandson Tegan Link.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. The family will receive friends 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the First Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the First Mennonite Church of Pretty Prairie or Country Living of Lyons.
