Patricia L. "Pat" Roberts, 77 years old, died at Banner Del Web Hospital in Sun City, Arizona on Monday December 11th, 2017 after a long illness.
Pat was born on May 22nd, 1940 to Lloyd W. Roberts and Glenna G. Goering in Reno County, Kansas. When she was born she was premature and so small her parents carried her around on a pillow.
Pat graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1958. She attended Wichita Business College in 1958 in Wichita Kansas. She went on to work at a church as a secretary. She then went to work at West Star Energy for the next 34 years until she retired at the age of 55 years old in 1995. Pat then moved back to Kingman Kansas where she lived with her mother.
Pat spent her time residing between Sun City, Arizona and Kingman, Kansas with her sister Elizabeth. Pat truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; She was an avid bowler, liked to fish and travel all over the US. Some of her favorite places to visit were Alaska, Hawaii and Cedar Edge Colorado to fish.
Pat is survived by her sister Elizabeth Byers, nieces Susan Bernauer, Stacey Byers and Tracey Kochever and a nephew David Byers and many great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Glenna and Lloyd Roberts.
Family, friends and others whose lives Pat touched are invited to celebrate her life. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, December 19th, from 5pm-7pm at Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman, Ks. Services will be held Wednesday, December 20th at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Kingman. Burial will be at the Lone Star Cemetery in Pretty Prairie, Kansas.
