Paul E. Beat, 101, died Jan. 22, 2015, at Wheatland's, Kingman.
He was born March 30, 1913, at Cleveland, Kansas the son of Edward and Margaret Conrardy Beat.
A lifetime resident of Kingman County, moving to Kingman in 1973, he was a retired livestock handler and farmer; and formerly worked for the Kingman County Appraiser's office.
He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Kingman.
On April 22, 1941, he married Yvonne Goetz at Willowdale; she died Nov. 25, 2005. Survivors include two sons Joseph and Charles; daughter Teresa Sinatra; brother Dr. Arthur Beat; sister Albert Dolan; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by brothers George, Dr. Victor; Clarence; and sisters Marcella Lindeman and Rose Beat.
Parish rosary will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, also at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School, Rivercross Hospice and Wheatlands Healthcare Center, all in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
