Peggy J. Roberts, 89, died Aug. 8, 2021 at Wichtia.

She was born March 20, 1932, at Elk City, Oklahoma the daughter of W.E. "Pete" and Bess Nicholson Thompson.  A Kingman resident since 1956, she was a retired book keeper for the First National Bank.

Peggy was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Martha Circle, both of Kingman.

On Jan. 2, 1954, she married James A. Roberts at Putnam City, Oklahoma.  Other survivors include sons Kenneth and Terry; brother Don Thompson; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son James Roberts, Jr.; and sister Wanda Thiery and Lylianne Smith.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021 at the First Baptist Church, Kingman.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the First Baptist Church or the Kingman Area Ministerial Alliance, both in care of the funeral home.
