RALPH EDWIN DEWEY

Ralph Edwin Dewey, 89, passed away May 31, 2026 at Via Christi St. Teresa, Wichita.

He was born March 11, 1937, in Wichita the son of W.B. “Bill” and Annie B. Krase Dewey. A lifetime resident of Eastern Kingman County, he was a rancher known for excellent black Angus cattle and farmer.

Ralph was a member of the Methodist Church; a former member of the Vinita Township Board; served in the National Guard; and a former 4-H leader.

On Dec. 27, 1959, he married Marianne Sowers at the Murdock Methodist Church. Other survivors include their son Van Dewey and his wife Donna; daughter Deena Holder and her husband Dell; brother Dee Dewey; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Norwich Methodist Church. Friends are encouraged to wear casual western attire. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2026 at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Vinita Cemetery located West of Cheney.

Memorials have been suggested to the Cheney Golden Age Home and may be mailed to the Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman KS 67068.
