RAY G. HAWKINS
Ray G., Hawkins, 83, died April 21, 2012, at his home in Kingman.
He was born July 3, 1928, at Penalosa the son of George Roy and Myrtle Alta Cox Hawkins. A lifetime resident of the Kingman community, he was a retired barber and retired as Kingman County Noxius Weed Director.
He was a member of the Kingman Christian Church, Ninnescah Lodge #230 A.F.&A.M., the Scottish Rite Bodies, Midian Shrine Temple, the VFW, forty years with the Kingman Fired Dept., and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
On Jan. 20, 1950, he married Nancy Foulk in Wichita. Other survivors include son Roy and wife Helen; daughter Gwen Drosselmeyer and husband Steve; sister Nola Hawkins; 5 grandchildren, Cody, Kelli and Clint Drosselmeyer, Renee Timer and Rachael Murray; and 3 great-grandchildren, Thad Timer, Dalton and McKenna Murray. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Glen "Bud", Dean and D. Lynn.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Burial will be in the Hoosier Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Kingman Christian Church and Kingman Fire Dept., both in care of the funeral home.
