Rex M. Brown, 82, died Jan. 15, 2015, at the Cheney Golden Age Home.

He was born July 4, 1932, at Mayfield, Kansas the son of Leslie and Edna Pritner Brown. A Kingman resident most of his life, he was a retired Technical Assistant for KDOT.

He was a member of the Kingman Christian Church; and was a U.S. Army veteran.

On Sept. 3, 1954, he married Nancy S. DeWeese; she died Jan. 16, 2003. Survivors include son Merle and his wife Virginia; daughter Karen Gonzales and husband David; brother Lee Brown; sister Jean Depenbush; grandchildren Jill Garcia, Marcus Brown, Nicole Stutts, Gary Gonzales and Angie Gonzales; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother Donald and a sister Doris Funke.

Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, at the Kingman Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Private family burial services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made with the Kingman Community Hospital Auxilliary, Harry Hynes Hospice and Cheney Golden Age Home, all in care of the Livingston Funeral Home.
