RITA ADELHEID ADELHARDT

Rita Adelheid Adelhardt, 103, died Sept. 27, 2026 at the Pratt Health and Rehab, Pratt, Kansas.

She was born Sept. 29, 1922, in rural Kingman County, Kansas the daughter of John and Emma Simon Adelhardt. A current resident of the St. Leo community, she was a homemaker and bookkeeper.

Rita was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church and the St. Leo Altar Society. She was devoted to our Lord and Savior, His Blessed Mother, St. Joseph, the Holy Rosary, the Society of the Miraculous Medal and St. Pius of Pietreicina.

She is survived by 21 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, and great-great-great nieces and great-great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her Alois, Eugene, Ronald, Fredrick, John and Elmer; and sisters Marcella Ford and Elenora Zogleman.

Parish rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026 at the St. Leo Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery.
