Rita E. Rottering, 78, died Nov. 2, 2017, at Pretty Prairie.
She was born in 1939 in Kingman County, Kansas the daughter of Bernard and Anna Bohrer Henning. A longtime resident of the Kingman community, she was the former Kingman County Treasurer.
Rita was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella, both of Kingman.
On May 6, 1967, she married Kenneth Rottering at Kingman; he died Aug. 1, 2014. Survivors include two sons Britt and Mark; brothers Omer and Richard Henning; sisters, Cecelia Pshigoda, Geraldine Furrow and Mary Lees; and one grandson Ian.
Parish rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School and Prairie Sunset Home, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 620-532-3322.
