RITA G. THEIS

Dateline/Cunningham

Rita G. Theis was born July 29, 1930 at Cunningham Kansas and died at Hilltop Manor March 13, 2022. Her parents were Alf and Ruth Wilson Cooley.

On October 14, 1947 she married Joseph A. Theis at Cunningham.

They had three son's, Dennis (Pam), Larned, Ks...Dan (Pat), Cunningham, Ks...David (Cindy), Pampa, Tx. She has Seven Grandchildren, Eight great grandchildren, Three great great grandchildren.

A Cunningham resident from birth till Joe took a promotion and moved to Healdton, Ok. in 1969.  They returned to Cunningham in 1984 after some years in Chase, Ks. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother,  and great great grandmother.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church,  Cunningham. She was a member of Altar Society,  and former member of the Daughters of Isabella and The Legion of Mary. After Joe's passing she joined the Sister's of Habit out of Kingman, Ks. She had many great times performing with the group and many great memories!

Parish Rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the Sacred Heart Church, Cunningham followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund and the Cunningham Benevolent Fund both in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, KS  67068.
