Robert L. Schuchman, 89, died July 29, 2019, at Wichita.

He was born Dec. 2, 1929, at Newkirk, Oklahoma the son of Paul and Edna Behara Schuchman. A Kingman resident, previously of Wellington, he was a retired Engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad.

Robert was a member of the Wellington Christian Church.

On Feb. 14, 1988, he married Naomi Belcher Byers at Kingman. Other survivors include daughters Cindy Todd and Bette Ann McClothlin; step-sons Mike and Don Byers; step-daughter Deb Gonzales; brother John; sisters Mary Anstey, Pat Naden and Jeanette Rindo; 8 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son Jerry; brothers Ronnie and Marvin; and sister Pauline Bogart.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at the Livingston Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with the family present from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the Newkirk Cemetery, Newkirk, OK.
