Rosella M. "Rose" Henning, 84, died July 16, 2014, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.
She was born June 24, 1930, at Willowdale, Kansas the daughter of Leo and Lucille Miller Mertens. A lifetime resident of Kingman County, she was a homemaker.
Rose was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the D of I, the Altar Soceity; and the EHU.
On Sept. 27, 1949, she married Ralph B. Henning at Willowdale; he died June 5, 1998. Survivors include son Alvin; daughters Jane Patterson, Susan Moseley, Sharon Henning, and Pamela Stasa; brothers Lawrence, John, Donald, Gene, Marvin "Butch", Leroy and Leo; sisters Alice Jacobs, Pauline Jacobs, Helen Meyers and Karen Lubbers; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother Edwin; and a sister Dorothy Swart.
Parish rosary will be 6:30 p.m., Friday, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, also at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School in care of the funeral home.
