ROY LEE YOUNG

Roy Lee Young, 80, died Oct. 12, 2025 in Wichita.

He was born July 10, 1945, in Kingman the son of Merle W. and Hilah M. Field Young.  A lifetime resident of the Pretty  Prairie and Kingman communities, Roy was a retired farmer and stockman and co-owner and operator of R&R Carwash.

Roy was a member of the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church; a former president of the Pretty Prairie Booster Club; and one of the developers of The Links Golf Course at Pretty Prairie.

On Aug. 29, 1981, he married Regina "Rosie" Keeler.  Other survivors include daughters Kristina Young-Cox and her husband Lonnie Cox, Gina Young- Kienzle and her husband David, and Holly Youngers and her husband Tom; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers

Forrest and Daryl; and sister Phyllis Stucky.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, Oct. 17, 2025 at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025 at the Livingston Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church and sent in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman KS 67068.
