Ruth Clouse, 93, died Dec. 2, 2019, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

She was born Dec. 30, 1925, at Cheney, Kansas the daughter of Herman and Anna Hillman Burdorf.
A longtime Kingman County resident, she employed at Demmett Equipment and John Deere Store in Cheney as well as Pennock Nursing Home and Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cheney.

On Dec. 23, 1956, she married Albert James Clouse at Murdock; he died Dec. 12, 1979. Survivors include son Russell; daughters Kathryn Miller, Joyce Pitman and husband Dave, and Janice Stewart and husband Robert; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother John Burdorf.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Belmont.

Memorials may be made with Rivercross Hospice or Wheatlands Healthcare Center both in care of the funeral home.
