IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ryan Dean
Heimerman
February 9, 1982 – April 10, 2023
Ryan Dean Heimerman
Ryan D. Heimerman, 41, passed away unexpectedly on April 10th, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born on February 9th, 1982 in the middle of a blizzard in Kingman, Kansas, the son of Robert (Bob) and Carol (Osner) Heimerman. He was a lifetime resident of Willowdale, Kansas, and had an illustrious and successful career as a Senior Quality A&P technician at Textron Aircraft Company (Cessna) for the last 17 years. He leaves behind his family and his beloved fiance Christina Vierthaler, also of Wichita. Ryan was the oldest of 3 children and is survived by his sister Sarah Heimerman of Wichita, and his brother Nick (Jodi) Heimerman of Saint George, Kansas. Ryan was also a devoted uncle to his nephew Rhett and niece Laila, who brought great joy to his life.
Ryan enjoyed every aspect of the outdoors–going hunting, fishing, or even just spending an afternoon on the mower. He and Bob cared for the Willowdale cemetery for a number of years, taking great pride in keeping it clean and beautiful. He loved animals (probably more than people, honestly), and one of his favorite things was playing with his dogs Penny, Josie, and Cassie and his dog nephews Barrett, Remi, and Ronnie. Ryan had a profound love of music, and enjoyed seeing his favorite bands live, most recently sitting front and center with his brother and sister to see two of their favorite bands in concert, smiling the whole time. He was an incredible drummer and musician that could figure out how to play the drum part to any song, even if he had only heard it once or twice. He could often be heard playing the drums or listening to his favorite bands in his shop to unwind and relax. Ryan had a brilliant mind, excelling at anything that he put it to. He took immense pride in his career and the work he did–he loved every aspect of the aircraft industry and genuinely enjoyed what he did and who he worked with.
Ryan was a loyal and dedicated friend, brother, uncle, partner, and son, and he would do anything for those he loved. He was always there to lend an ear or hand to help anyone in need, and was devoted to his fiance and family even when things had become difficult in his personal life.
In addition to his immediate family, Ryan leaves behind a large extended family of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who will miss him dearly but will find comfort and peace in the cherished memories and moments that they were blessed with by having Ryan in their lives.
Memorials may be made with the Kingman Humane Society or Beauties and Beasts, Inc. (Wichita), both in care of the funeral home.
