Sharon J. Forrester, 71, died October. 13, 2018, at Wichita.
She was born November 28, 1946, at Herington, Kansas the daughter of Robert and Edith Miller McCubbin. A Kingman resident since 1988, she was the retired Loan Administrative Assistant for Kanza Bank.
On February 1, 1969, she married Ron Forrester at Enterprise, Kansas. Other survivors include two daughters Natasha Forrester Campbell and Tanya Forrester; and a sister Roberta Johnson.
Sharon was always so curious about the world, always wanting to know more - she'd have made an ace reporter.
She had a strong sense of justice and loved Law and Order (and NCIS and Hill Street Blues) - she's have been an excellent district attorney. Her favorite thing was meeting new people and seeing new places - she's have made a stellar flight attendant.
She loved to ask questions and could have put clues together to figure out any secret - she'd have been a great cop. Sharon loved animals and reminded her daughters when they got on her nerves that she "could've raised poodles instead" - she's have made a fantastic poodle trainer. Instead, she chose to be an ace wife, an excellent mother, a stellar sister, a great friend, and a fantastic lover of life in all its glory.
The family will have private services at a later date.
