Sheila M Dick, 63, died April 2, 2020, at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.
Sheila loved all things outdoors. She was an avid fisherman, hunter and competitive horseshoe player. She loved a good game of marbles with anyone who was brave enough to sit down and play with her. Sheila treasured her grandchildren with all her heart. She loved being able to be an active participant in their lives and watch them grow. Sheila was always a constant source of laughter and the life of the party.
She was born Feb. 13, 1957, at Nashville, Kansas, the daughter of Leonard and Rosalyn "Rosie" Schwartz Henning. A lifetime member of the Spivey community, she was a homemaker and owned her own cleaning business.
Sheila was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Willowdale, Kansas.
On Dec. 7, 1985, she married Ed Dick at Spivey, Kansas; he survives.
Sheila also leaves behind her 3 daughters and their husbands; Amy and Robert Stiffler, Jackie and Brian Austin, and Heidi and Matt Simon. Sheila also leaves behind 8 Grandchildren Cameron, Clayton, Cody, Keith, Josey, Logan, Bryce and Chase. She is also survived by her father, Leonard; Brothers Stan and Vernon Henning; sisters Geneva Henning and Sharon Nowak.
Sheila was preceded in death by her son Jed, her mother Rosie, and her brother Randy.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday April 8th at the St. Peter Cemetery at Willowdale. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM, Tuesday April 7th at the Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman, Ks. The family wishes to remind their friends that due to the current health restrictions only a minimal amount of friends are able to visit at one time.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Sheila Dick Memorial Scholarship in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
