Shirley Kay Hope, 79, died Jan. 19, 2016, at Kingman.
She was born May 18, 1936, at Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Irwin John and Metta Marie Clark Dunbar. A longtime Kingman resident, she was a former sales clerk at Pelliter's in Topeka.
She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman.
On Oct. 16, 1971, she married Ernie Hope; he died March 4, 1994. Survivors include a sister Jean Raub; and sister-in-law Charlotte Dunbar. She was preceded in death by brothers Jack Dunbar and Clifford Johnson; and sister Doris Johnson Gallion.
Parish rosary will be 9:30 a.m., Monday, at St. Patrick Catholic Church followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick School or Kingman County Humane Society, both in care of the funeral home.
