Terry Lee Hohensee was born on August 20, 1960 in Coldwater, Kansas. He was 60 years old when he passed away on December 22, 2020 at Harry Haynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita Kansas with family.

Terry was the son of Vendel Lee Hohensee Senior and Jane Lucille Ward. He lived in Lamar, CO from 1961-1976 where he was a Boy Scout and enjoyed walking down to the trains station as a boy. He then moved to Pratt Kansas where he spent the rest of his life. Terry enjoyed science-fiction, watching storms, and anything that flew. He enjoyed going to the air shows at Pratt Regional Airport. He actually got an Ultra light helicopter (Gyrocopter) but he never got to fly it.

Survivors include his mother Jane Ward; brother, Darrell Hohensee and sisters & brother-in-laws, Linda Dettwiler & Devon, Anita Rose & Josh and Rhonda Machin & Matt; Nephews Justin & Jeremy Holmquist, Mitchell Machin, & Connor & Derek Rose and Nieces Brandy Holmquist & Makayla Machin; and many great nephews and nieces.  He was preceded in death by his father Vendel Lee Hohensee Senior and brother Vendel Lee Hohensee Junior.

A parish rosary will be be recited at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 with the Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at the St. Peter Catholic Church in Willowdale.  Burial will be in the St. Peter Church Cemetery.
