Thelda Fay Blank, 98, passed away October 21, 2018 because her mind and body simply got tired. She was a lifetime resident of Kingman County, minus a few short stints around Kansas where her husband, Virgil, did construction. Born May 26, 1920, she was the only child of Sam and Cleo Fink. She attended Pleasant Hill Grade School and graduated from Belmont High School in 1938. She married Virgil Blank in Raton, NM on March 12, 1942. They had two sons, Lyle Dean Blank and Dennis James Blank. She is survived by daughters in-law Kaye Blank (Dean) and Linda Blank (Dennis), five grandchildren, Mendy (Rob) Frampton, Amy (Scott) Livingston, Molly (Chad) Osborn, Sam Blank and Nick (Tiffany) Blank and eight great- grandchildren Cody Frampton, Chance Frampton, Kyle Livingston, Anna Livingston, Bailey Osborn, Kade Osborn, Cassidy Blank and Payton Blank.
Thelda enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it be fishing, sporting events, rodeos or just going out to eat. She was a dog person. She raised Pekingese for several years but toward the end took in a few strays to love. She spent many years volunteering at the Nu 2 U in Kingman. She always enjoyed finding the treasures and visiting with the people.
Private services will be held at the Murdock Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Kingman County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
