Theresa Susan Elpers, 87, died Jan. 31, 2016, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

She was born August 20, 1928, at Willowdale, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Josephine Bohrer Youngers. . A longtime resident of the Kingman community, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and the St. Ann Altar Society, both of Kingman.

On Oct. 7, 1952, she married Clifford Elpers at Willowdale, Kansas; he died Sept. 30, 1999. Survivors include sons Steve (Nancy), Stan (Sheila), Mike (Karen), and Randy; brother Elmer Youngers; sisters Mary Rose Eck and Alice Burnenheide; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; She was also preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl Ann Elpers; and 2 great-grandchildren, Patrick and Christopher Elpers.

Parish Rosary will be 5:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at the church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the St. Rose Catholic Church Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, Kansas.
