Vaneta G. Schroeder, 91, died Aug. 23, 2021 in Inman.

She was born Nov. 16, 1929, at Hutchinson the daughter of Paul and Alvina Schoor Beck.  A longtime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, moving to Inman in 2012, she was a retired Registered Nurse.

Vaneta was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson; the Heart of Kansas Quilters, the EHU; and was active in church activities serving in various capacities.

On Dec. 14, 1951, she married Vernon L. Schroeder at Hutchinson; he died Nov. 11, 2020.  Survivors include three daughters and their husbands Gail and Al Renner, Lynn and Alan Wineinger, and Stephanie and Leon Unruh; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a brother Clyde Beck.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., prior to services Saturday at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery, Pretty Prairie.
