VERA MAE DICKERSON

Vera Mae Dickerson, 93, died Jan. 28, 2023 at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie, Ks.

She was born Dec. 27, 1929, at Pretty Prairie, the daughter of Arnold and Elma Krehbiel Soft.  A longtime resident of Pretty Prairie, she was a cook at Pretty Prairie High School.

Vera was a member of the Pretty Prairie Methodist Church.

On Apr.  10, 1948, she married Carl Dickerson at Wichita; he died Aug. 5, 2011. Survivors include sons Robert and Wayne; daughter Scarlet Smith; and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lonestar Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with Prairie Sunset Home in care of the funeral home.
