Verna Graber, 89, died June 7, 2013.

She was born March 12, 1924, at Pretty Prairie the daughter of Peter and Lucy Graber Schwartz. A lifetime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, she was a quilter and a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie.

On Oct. 18, 1944, she married Willard "Bill" Graber; he died May 18, 2011. Survivors include 3 sons and their wives, Larry and Betty, Gary and Sheryl, Rick and Betsy; brothers Gene and Ken; sisters Veleta Vogt and Shirley Bay; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a son Morris.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at the First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
