Vinton Barringer Gubbins, 90, died Dec. 5, 2017, at the Kingman Community Hospital.
He was born May 17, 1927, at Albion, Illinois the son Thomas W. and Florence Barringer Gubbins. A Kearney, Nebraska resident for thirty-two years, residing in Kingman since 2014, he was a welding supply salesman and teacher.
On July 8, 1961, he married Mary Kumbera at St. Louis, Missouri. Other survivors include three sons Mark Powell, Danny Gubbins and Keith Gubbins; two daughters Julie K. Wollen and her husband Jonathan, and Kathy Maaser; a brother Kenneth Gubbins; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Gail and Barbara; and brothers Eugene, Gordon, David and Dick.
Family memorial sevices will be held at a later date in Illinois.
Memorials may be made with the Kingman Community Hospital in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
