Virginia A. Hageman, 88, died June 18, 2025, at Wheatlands Health Care Center, Kingman, Kansas. She was born on February 20, 1937, at Duquoin, Kansas, to James G. and Ruby Johnson Pomeroy.  She was a retired farmer and cattlewoman. She enjoyed traveling, painting, and baking. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth's Altar Society, Zenda, Kansas.

On August 10, 1954, she married Richard Hageman at Zenda, Kansas; They shared 70 years of marriage before his death on December 4, 2024. Survivors include her two children, Richard (Lora) Hageman and Dianna (Mike) Woodard. Five grandchildren, Denise Hageman, Sharon (Marc) Pankratz, Darrel Hageman, Greg (Alicia) Woodard and Scott (Cheryl) Woodard, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a brother, Fred Pomeroy. She was preceded in death by brothers, Jim Pomeroy, Donald Pomeroy and Carl Pomeroy and sisters, Eloise Tatro and Carol Sinnett.

The family will receive friends from   6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Willowdale, Kansas. Burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Willowdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Catholic Church of Zenda, Wichita Adaptive Sports and Wheatlands Health Care Center, in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
