Vita M. Henning, 82, died Sept. 24, 2018.
She was born Aug. 15, 1936, at Nashville, Kansas the daughter of Frank and Clara Berning Albers. A longtime resident of the Kingman community, she was a retired Agent for Kingman insurance Agency.
Vita was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Churchm the D of I, Altar Society; the EHU; and was a former 4-H leader.
On May 11, 1955, she married Donald P. Henning at St. Leo, Kansas; he died Aug. 21, 1994. Survivors include sons Wade, James, Marcus and Donald; daughters Margaret Henning and Gwen Short; brother Norbert Albers; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by son Eric Henning; and a brother Ralph.
Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until rosary time at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School in care of the funeral home.
