Wesley D. Melton, 68, of Mt. Vernon, Washington, passed away on October 15, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, Washington. He was the son of the late Melvin Melton and Flora Woodson of Kingman.
Wesley graduated from Kingman High School and went on to Pratt Community College for football and Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva where he also played football. He was a retired Pipe Fitter and Welder in Washington State. He attended the Cowboy Church and read the King James Bible. He enjoyed volunteering at his church and helping his neighbors. His love for sports and visiting his friends was his favorite past time.
He married Lee Ann Jaeger on December 22, 2004 in Oak Harbor Washington.   They enjoyed traveling together. He is survived by his mother, Flora Woodson, of Kingman, Sister, Twyla Ricke (Norman) of Hays and nieces, Amanda Ricke of Hays and Stacey Theesfeld of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be November 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman.
