WILBUR A. KOON

Wilbur A. Koon, 79, died March 2, 2019, in Wichita.

He was born March 11, 1939, in Kingman the son of Clarence W. and Pauline McCue Koon. A lifetime resident of the Kingman community, he was a retired sales representative for Wonder Bread, a former high school golf coach and worked for the State of Kansas.

Wilbur was a member of the Kingman United Methodist Church; and a former assistant Boy Scout Master.

On January 17, 1960, he married Elaine Geist at Kingman. Other survivors include four sons Les, Gary, Ken and Todd; brothers Larry and Jack; sister Norma Meyers; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brother Wayne and Leroy; and a sister Maxine Beckerman.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.

Memorial contributions may be made with the Kingman Boy Scout Troop #740 or the Kingman Over 60 Fund both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
