WILLIAM T. "BILL" ROSS

William T. "Bill" Ross, 80, died Aug. 18, 2014, at Wichita.

He was born April 23, 1934, at Kingman the son of George H. Sr., and Ruth Moss Ross. A longtime Kingman and Wichita resident, he was a retired mechanic for the Burlington-Northern and Santa Fe Railroads.

He was a member of Christ Church Episcopal and Ninnescah Lodge #230 A.F.&A.M., both of Kingman; and was a member as well as Past Master of Pyramid Lodge #451 and the York Rite Bodies, both of Wichita.

Survivors include 3 sons and their wives, Tod and Sandra, Wally and Kim and Lance and Julie; sister Sybil Helmke; grandchildren and their spouses Jarret Ross, Gina and Dale LeBar, Riley Ross, Roxanne and Derek Ohl, Royce and Jessica Ross, Kristen and Geoff Case, and Kyle Ross; step-grandchildren Christian Czarnowsky and Jake (Misti) Czarnowsky; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Walter, Charles, George and Howard; and sisters Katherine Paddock and Ruth Grammer.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Christ Church Episcopal, Kingman with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. til service time. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman.
