WILMA MARIE HOVAN

Wilma Marie Hovan, 86, died Dec. 16, 2018, at Hilltop Manor, Cunningham.

She was born April 27, 1932, at Penalosa, Kansas the daughter of Harrison and Marie Jones Wyer. A longtime resident of the Penalosa community, she was a homemaker and former co-owner of the Hovan-Wyer U Pick Orchard.

Wilma was a member of the Penalosa United Methodist Church.

On April 2, 1976, she married Sylvester "Whitey" Hovan; he died Sept. 19, 2008. Survivors include children Charles "Chuck" Younts, Jr. (Kimberly), Charlene Patton-Colley (Malcolm), Willetta Dyer (Bob), and Donna LaHane; sister Faye Foster; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lerado Cemetery, near Penalosa.

Memorials may be made with the Penalosa United Methodist Church or the Kingman Community Hospital Auxiliary in care of the funeral home.
