KINGMAN - Wilma E. Rickard, 91, died Nov. 2, 2010, at the Kansas Masonic Home, Wichita. She was born Aug. 10, 1919, at Kingman, the daughter of Artie and Vera Burger Cross.
A longtime resident of Wichita, previously of Zenda, she was a retired C.N.A. and C.M.A. She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Zenda United Methodist Church, Della Chapter OES #172, the Maple Garden Red Hatters, and the Tap Cats.
She married Dayle Rickard June 9, 1940, at Siloam Springs, Ark. He died March 19, 1986. Survivors include: three daughters and their husbands, Jeanie and Ross Hoener, Sue and Dean Wilson, and Bette Jo and Larry King; brother, Harley Cross; sister, Barbara Jean McBurney; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Katherine Harris and Peggy Crumbliss.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Cleveland Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Cleveland Cemetery Association in care of the funeral home.
