WINNONA K. JANTZEN
Winnona K. Jantzen, 84, died Sept. 29, 2010 at her home in Kingman.
She was born Dec. 3, 1925, at Carnegie, Oklahoma the daughter of Simon Peter and Philbena Jantz Janz. A longtime resident of Kingman, she was retired employee of Kingman Community Hospital working as cook, nurses aide and in Central Supply.
She was a member of the First Mennonite Church and the Women's Mission Society, both of Pretty Prairie.
On Sept. 1, 1950, she married Elmer Jantzen in Beatrice, Nebraska. Other survivors include sons Richard and Rodger; daughters Beverly Alexander, Barbara Jantzen and Beth Hanke; sisters Loritha Boone and Vera Jackson; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Joseph and a sister Verna.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at the First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with the family receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in the First Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Oncology Dept. of Kingman Community Hospital, Avant Ministries and Grace University of Omaha.
